Excellence of cancerology and transplantation research :

Future investments : 4 excellence structures

The quality of the research carried out by the teams at the DHU Oncogreffe was recognised during the calls for projects for the “Investissements d’Avenir” (Future investments) programme and led to the labelling of several excellence structures: :

  •  The IHU European Centre for Transplantation and Immunotherapy Sciences (Centre Européen des Sciences de Transplantation et Immunothérapie-CESTI)  focuses on the treatment of serious pathologies through organ, cell or gene transplantation, generating new possibilities in regenerative medicine and is coordinated by Prof. Gilles BLANCHO….More information
  • The LabEX Immuno-Graft-Oncology (LabEx IGO) works to develop new treatments against cancer or transplant rejection through increased knowledge of the body’s immune response mechanisms. Coordinated by Nathalie Labarrière, Labex is structured on three main research programmes, with the aim of developing immunotherapies in oncology and transplantation….More information
  • The LabEX Innovative Radiopharmaceuticals in Oncology and Neurology (LabEx IRON) is dedicated to the development of new radioactive tracers for diagnostic imaging of neurological diseases and cancers, and innovative targeted radiotherapies. Coordinated by Prof. Françoise Kraëber-Bodéré, labex IRON is a national consortium, grouping university hospital sites at Angers, Rennes, Tours, Orléans, Caen, Strasbourg, Toulouse…More information

  • The EquipEX (equipment of excellence) ArronaxPlus (Jacques Barbet) aims to develop molecular imaging and vectorised radiotherapy, which consists of irradiating cancerous tumours with a radioactive element in a medicinal product to improve the diagnosis and treatment of cancers. It is piloted by GIP Arronax and five other partners: Subatech, CRCNA, the Nantes University Hospital (CHU) Nuclear Medicine Department and the ICO, Ceisam and CEMA-Oniris… More information
